Season’s Greetings from Beachborough
Framing started on the 4th floor homes in December. We made good progress through the 4th quarter with excellent teamwork by the construction trades. Every engineered wood or steel beam is hoisted into place by Craig-the-crane-man (from Newfoundland) and hand placed and fastened by the IRL framing team (from Ireland). November and December brought many windy days when crane time was limited for safety reasons, so we hope for less “windy” inside days over the next few months.
Major plumbing infrastructure is currently well underway in the underground parkade mechanical room. The on-demand gas fired high efficiency energy-star hot water heaters and 500 gallon holding tank are in place. The elevator core shaft is currently at level 4. Stay tuned for the next update near the end of March when we will show you more of the exciting progress at Beachborough.
Wishing all a safe and joyous Holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year!
